Department of Advanced Training, Research And Consultancy (ATRC)

The department of ATRC is one of the core academic departments in the campus. It’s currently responsible for coordinating ATRC activities in the campus.
The department is headed by a Head of Department (HOD) and departmental faculty members.
The main activities of the department include;

  • Training Needs Assessment (TNA)
  • Academic Research and Publication of research articles
  • Consultancy assignments
  • Advanced Training

The department ensures that all activities are managed effectively to ensure compliance.
The activities of the department are therefore guided by:

  • KSG Research Handbook
  • ISO 9001:2008 Departmental Procedures
  • KSG Learning and Development Policy and Procedures manuals
  • KSG Terms and Conditions of Service
  • Other Existing government policies and procedures

The Campus research steering committee composed of members of the faculty from various academic departments plans and implements all research and consultancy related activities in the campus.
Through the Campus Director and the office of the Deputy Director learning and Development, the department liaises with the Director Academic Affairs (DAA) and the Centre for Advanced Training, Research and Consultancy, Nairobi for harmonization of all ATRC activities in the entire school.
